About Taterra

Hi! I’m Megan, the artist and creator behind Taterra. After more than a decade in corporate life and learning about my dog’s congenital heart defect, I decided to cash in some savings and leave my steady job to create a slower, more meaningful life

I explored different creative paths, but I was quickly drawn to jewelry making after gifting a custom necklace and realizing how much joy it brought me to make it and my friend to wear it.

Every piece I create is inspired by nature, nostalgia, and the people who have shaped me. I love crafting one-of-a-kind jewelry using colorful gemstone beads, 14k gold filled and sterling silver components handmade in small batches.

The name Taterra was inspired by our puppy, Tater, who reminds us every day to enjoy the little things, and “terra” (my love for nature and the outdoors). With the unwavering support of my fiancé, family, and friends, I’ve been able to turn this dream into a business. Taterra is about intentional, personal jewelry that feels meaningful every time you wear it.
